content marketing blog welcomeI’m very excited to announce the official launch of my content marketing blog. This will hopefully become the ultimate resource for any marketer looking for advice on content creation. So, if you’re a marketer, writer or just a “student,” then this place is for you.

Now, of course, there are already plenty of resources on this, but hopefully my unique perspective can ensure that all you guys always walk away with some useful information.

Why Me?

What makes me qualified to provide advice on content marketing? The fact that I have a blog and the will to write content for it (something you can do too, if you’re not already doing it).

Other than that, I have over five years of experience working as a content marketer for a variety of B2C and B2B companies. I know how different businesses approach content marketing. What they are doing and what they are not doing. How to get the buy-in on content marketing and deliver results. I also stay on top of the latest trends and I read a lot about everything.

In other words, I know some stuff. That’s why I’d like to share my tips.

What’s in the Pipeline?

I have several topics in mind. For now, I’ll focus on the basics of content marketing, such as the following:

  • How to Write for Your Audience
  • How to Come Up with Relevant Topics for Your Content
  • How to Analyze Your Online Content for Gaps
  • How to Create Kickass Content Inventory
  • How to Get Started with Content Marketing
  • How to Get Your Top Execs to Fully Embrace Content Marketing
  • How to Identify Your Target Audience

These topics are not set in stone, and I’m always open to suggestions, so be sure to leave comments on LinkedIn, Facebook or Twitter.

Frequency

I’m hoping to produce one blog post per month. I’m not getting paid for this yet, so don’t hold me to it. Freelance work, full-time job and life in general may get in the way. But, if you find my content useful and engaging, I’ll keep producing it!

Looking Forward to It!

This should be a fun experiment. More than anything else, I’m looking to you, my readers, for your feedback. Please use Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter to post your suggestions, and I’ll be sure to take them into account. In the meantime, be sure to explore my website. Thanks for reading!
